FAQ
Common questions about DEVA International cosmetics OEM/ODM manufacturing services.
What OEM/ODM services does DEVA International offer?
We provide one-stop cosmetics manufacturing — market planning, formula R&D, packaging design, efficacy testing and scaled production across skincare, baby care, sun care, body care and personal care.
What is the typical minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on product format, packaging and formulation complexity. Standard creams, lotions and serums can start from a few thousand units; our consultant will propose a tailored plan after you submit your requirements.
How long does sampling and mass production take?
Sampling of proven standard formulas takes 3 working days, while custom R&D formulas take 7–15 working days — both include skin-feel tuning and initial stability review. After confirmation, mass production typically takes 30–45 days, depending on packaging arrival and order size.
Do you support custom formulation and private label?
Yes. We offer both differentiated custom formulation built around your brand and flexible private-label manufacturing to accelerate your time to market while protecting formulation IP.
What certifications and qualifications do you hold?
Our facility operates under ISO 22716 and GMPC cosmetics GMP systems, with FDA registration, HALAL certification and BPOM Indonesia registration, providing the compliance documents export markets require.
Can you provide efficacy testing and claims compliance support?
Yes. We run R&D and validation around efficacy, safety, skin compatibility and compliance, assisting with stability, microbiological and efficacy testing and properly substantiated claims.
Which markets can the products be exported to?
Products can target mainland China as well as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. We have registration and certification experience to meet each market’s regulatory and labelling requirements.
What is the MOQ for export orders? Can I start with a small trial order?
Export orders typically start at 3,000–5,000 units per SKU, depending on packaging and formulation complexity. Small trial orders are also welcome so new brands can validate the market at lower risk — trial-order terms can be confirmed during consultation.
What payment methods and trade terms do you support?
Common payment terms are T/T (50% deposit, balance before shipment). We support FOB, CIF, EXW and door-to-door DDP Incoterms, tailored to your destination port and logistics plan.
What export documents and customs clearance papers do you provide?
Standard exports come with a Certificate of Analysis (COA), MSDS, full INCI ingredient list, certificate of origin, packing list and invoice, plus free-sale certificates where applicable. Any destination-specific extra documents (e.g., sanitary certificates, test reports) are confirmed in one round before the order is placed.
How do you make labels and ingredient lists compliant with the target market?
We prepare labels and ingredient lists to each market’s rules: INCI nomenclature, flagged EU 26 allergens, net content, batch code and period-after-opening (PAO), plus multi-language cartons and inserts. Artwork can be pre-reviewed by our compliance team before printing.
Can you communicate in English and provide English documents?
Yes. Overseas clients are supported one-on-one by an English-speaking account manager, and all communication, proposals and meetings can be conducted in English. COA, MSDS, formula confirmations, production and QC records are all available in English.
How are samples shipped overseas and who bears the shipping cost?
Standard samples are free of charge (within quantity limits); custom-developed samples may carry a small fee. International courier can be arranged on your DHL/FedEx collect account, or we can ship on your behalf and settle the actual cost.
Do you accept third-party factory audits and pre-shipment inspections?
Third-party audits and pre-shipment inspections (e.g., by SGS, BV or TÜV) are welcome. We provide system documents, production records and testing support, and help arrange the audit schedule in advance.
Do you offer Halal and vegan formula options?
Yes. We are HALAL certified and can supply Halal-compliant products. We also develop vegan formulas free of animal-derived ingredients and animal testing, with supporting documentation for market claims.
How are quality issues or delivery delays handled?
Every batch is fully traceable with retained samples for verification. If a quality issue arises, we verify it immediately and honour rework, replacement or compensation as agreed in the contract. Production scheduling and shipping progress are proactively updated, with early warning whenever exceptions occur.
How do I get a quote and free samples?
Tell us your product type, target market and efficacy direction via our contact form, phone or WeChat. Our consultant will respond within 1–2 business days with a plan, MOQ advice and sample arrangements.
